Daniel Klimek

Br. Daniel M    aria Klimek, T.O.R., is a Franciscan friar, writer, and scholar. He earned his Ph.D. in spirituality with distinction from the Catholic University of America, and received his Master of Arts in Religion from Yale Divinity School, concentrating on the history of Christianity. While pursuing his undergraduate studies at DePaul University in political science he held internships working for ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos in Washington, D.C.and at the Chicago Office of U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin. Br. Daniel Maria is a recognized authority on the Marian apparitions of Medjugorje, the subject of his dissertation. His writings have appeared in Aleteia, Patheos, ChurchPop, Shalom Tidingsmagazine, MinistryValues, MedjugorjeToday, Spirit of Medjugorje, and Medjugorje.org. He has been featured discussing Medjugorje on Radio Maria (USA), MaryTV, the documentary film Queen of Peace, the National Medjugorje Conference at the University of Notre Dame, and has presented academic papers on the topic at the University of Texas at Austin and at Yale Divinity School. He has also been featured on Radio Veritas discussing Catholic spirituality and Marian devotion. Br. Daniel Maria’s writings have been translated into Croatian, Polish, German, Spanish, Korean, and Indonesian. His scholarly articles have been published in Franciscan Connections: The Cord – A Spiritual Review, Glossolalia, and the Encyclopedia of Global Religion. Jim Carney
Jam     es L. Carney is an honor graduate of Spring Hill College, a Jesuit college in Mobile, Alabama. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and a former law school professor/assistant dean. He was invited to present his award-winning essay on “Just War Traditions in the Nuclear Age” to the U.S. Army Chaplains School. Mr. Carney was an eyewitness/parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Lake Ridge, Virginia at the time of the miraculous phenomena, at which time he documented the events in the book “The Seton Miracles”. Jim is also the author of “Mystery Stories, A Journey Through the Rosary”.


Brother John M. Samaha – SM

      Brother John belongs to the Pacific Province of the Marianists, and is currently working at Villa St Joseph in Cupertino, Calif. Previously he was engaged in high school and adult education in the western states and Lebanon. He is a member and officer of the Mariological Society of America
